Heavy Weight Retired World Kick-Boxing Champion , Joe Lewis , will be teaching a 3 hours seminar here at the Haganah National Heardquarters this coming saturday February 5th…who better to prepare you for full-contact sparring!

This coming saturday we will be hosting our annual Joe Lewis Fighting Systems seminar here at our school. It has been over 15 years since Joe Lewis has been coming every year to ny school to teach his annual semainr here…every year Joe brings to our mat valuable material to our sparring classes. Those who have been at the 6th annual HaganaH conference witnessed that in the first part of the Black Belt test ,  is a three 3 minutes full-contact rounds sparring match, with only one rule to pass : dont get knocked out!!!  This part of the test alone needs serious preparation and Joe Lewis has been sharing his superior sparring strategies for all these years and have been helping our candidates prepare for this physical task.

As usual there this semianr is limited to only 20 participants to assure quality training, while some people bring in Joe Lewis into their Martial Arts centers and pack the seminar with as many participants and make it kind of an meet Joe Lewis in person type like seminar, I have always limited the amount of participants so we get advance materials…

there are currently 14 participants enrolled with only 4 spots left ( Blake, my son, and I will be training as well…so with us it will be 20 bodies on the mat)

If you would like to enroll in this seminar please email me at mikelee1967@yahoo.com, dont message me on facebook lol I do not check my messages there anymore ….

to those who are attending saturday, many of you are repeat participants , and you know what to expect. To those who are coming for the first time you are in for a treat, Joe is an awesome Master Intsructor!!!

see you on the mat…

On saturday I met with a documentory Director, he is casting people for his upcoming production on Motivational speakers and that industry. I first started the conversation with me saying : ” You got the wrong guy Sir, I am not a motivational speaker ” after a conversation of 20 minutes and said : ” You are a motivational speaker! ” and I said : ” well, if I am its by default”

It would be too difficult to type the nature and energy of that conversation here on my blog but I will give you the opening of it :

“2 kids are born in 2 different parts of the world….1 is born in Bosnia in the myth of a war, a war orphan. The other 1 is born in Salt Lake City Utah to a very rich family. Which one has a better chance??”  and the Director answered without hesitation : ” the 1 in Salt Lake City!”

” its 16 years later…the 1 that was born is Bosnia lives in Amsterdam now and runs a small business. The other 1 is on drugs because of an absentee rich father that constantly travels the world and a mother that is on prozac and addicted to pain killers. Which one has a better chance now?? ” …he didnt answer, he just smiled!

I said: ” You just got a lesson in logistics “  Ignore logistics and you ignore adaptation, ignore adaptation and you ignore change!!!

my teachings are not designed to motivate people who have a lack of passion , or a simple defficency in discipline, my teachings are designed to CHANGE people’s life….thats what I do, and I do it very well ;-)

I was born an Orphan…I have had MANY fathers, to me thats what life is all about, how many fathers have you had????

How strong is your wall?  If you stand alone, no matter how strong you are , you stand weak.

The people you surround yourself with must be strong in different areas to all mesh together a wall of Iron!

A lot of times people ask me : “who is your teacher? who is your trainer?”

my answer has always been : “which one, for what objective?”

Its the beginning of the year, time for you to evaluate who will build your wall this year…chose wisely!!!
